What Radio Dramas Did You Listen To In 2012?

With the passing of acclaimed audio dramatist Yuri Rasovaky the world of radio drama seemed to lack some of it's luster this year. Sadly without him there are no full-cast audio drama productions among the Grammy nominees for Best Spoken Word Album for the upcoming 2013 awards show. Still 2012 offered some wonderful new productions as well as time to catch up on shows from previous years that had been missed and time to listen to favorites again.

Here's a few of the shows we enjoyed listening to in 2012 (in no particular order):

1. Die Snow White! Die Damn You! - Hollywood Theater of the Ear

2. The Mark of Zorro - Hollywood Theater of the Ear

3. The complete Philip Marlowe series starring Toby Stephens - BBC Radio 4

4. The Three Musketeers - BBC Radio 4

5. Down Sonora Way - Louis L'Amour

6. Murder on the Orient Express (Hercule Poirot) - BBC Radio 4

7. The Cleansed - Fred Greenhalgh/FinalRune

8. Zorro and the Pirate Raiders/Zorro Rides Again - CRT

9. The Graduate - L.A. Theatre Works

10. Tom Corbett Space Cadet - CRT

Review coming soon.

These were just a few of the many radio dramas that we at Radio Drama (Audio Drama) Spotlight listened to and enjoyed in 2012. What radio dramas did you listen to and enjoy?
